The eGarage Welcomes Rockin Richy Younger, Children's Entertainer -
Sunday, February 5th at 11:00am. That’s right, “AM”. 11 o’clock in the morning? What’s that all about? Well, it’s the Egarage debut of Richard Younger aka Rockin Richy. “Richard Younger is a children's entertainer and music and movement teacher living in Sunnyside, New York. He is the proud recipient of the Parents' Choice Award as well as the iParenting Media Award for his debut CD, Gimme Gimme.
Richard Younger's musical journey has taken him from innumerable folk and rock clubs in the New York Area to stages in Holland, Denmark and Chad (!) to parks, playgroups and even a downtown Fire House. Since 2000 Richard's been sharing his love of music and movement with children throughout the New York area, at schools, libraries, hospital and kids' parties. He is a toddler music and movement teacher at the Church Street School for Music and Art in Manhattan, and a contracted performer with the Queens Library system and Hospital Audiences, Inc. His musical work with children was profiled in the May 14, 2006, Now section of The New York Daily News.” So come one, come all… and bring the kids to see The Rockin Richy Show at The eGarage.
